In 1879, Emile? Renault improved the movable mirror and designed the movable mirror movie machine. The mirror was placed in a wooden box with a glass viewing hole on it. In 1880, he invented the projection movable mirror, the principle of which was the same as the previous design, and added a slide device to project the picture onto the screen, so that many viewers could watch it together. Images are depicted on a disk, as before, with only 12 images.

　　In October 1888, Renault used the technology of slide projector to make an optical film machine. His cartoon "A Delicious Beer" became the first relatively complete cartoon in the world before the invention of the film.

　　Emile reynaud, a Frenchman in the 19th century, is regarded as the "originator of animation". The optical film machine he invented laid the technical foundation for animation and was the earliest prototype of animation projection system.

　　The first cartoon was first born in France. In 1877. Emile Reno, an optician and painter in Paris, made a new toy moving mirror based on the principle of "visual persistence". In 1878, he won the prize at the Paris World Expo.

　　In 1879, he improved the movable mirror. According to the basic principle of animation, he invented the movable mirror movie machine by using a biscuit tube. It can make the continuous painting strip infinitely extended and can show longer moving pictures.

　　Reno drew more than 20 animation programs, such as Feed the Chickens, Swimming Girls and Monkey Musicians. This is the earliest original cartoon in the world.
